In-Store Sales

Almost $400 billion of in-store sales (about 16% of purchases) are directly influenced by the Web. Forrester predicts that number will surpass $1 trillion by 2012. The report was compiled via Forrester's Consumer Technographics survey of 11,000 consumers conducted by mail, SEC filings from online retailers and U.S. sales volume by category.
