The third annual Pocket Films Festival, an event celebrating films made to be seen on mobile phones, kicked off yesterday in Paris.
A variety of film shorts, as well as medium and full-length films from around the world, will be shown to crowds on their personal phones and on big screens over the three-day event.
Quebec filmmaker Denis Villeneuve's short feature 120 Seconds to Get Elected, which aired on Bravo! in the fall.
Canadian film-maker Denis Villeneuve, who has had his work shown at Cannes and was nominated for the best foreign movie award at the Oscars, is one.
He made "120 seconds to get elected," a satirical spoof documentary on a campaigning populist politician, to be watched on a mobile phone.

Un maitre en effet.
Denis Darth Vader, qui prépare maintenant un long métrage inspiré du massacre de l'école Polytechnique de Montréal s'inspire peut-être de ses propres pulsions du moment ou il s'est fait remarquer en possession d'un fusil de chasse dans sa case au CÉGEP de Trois-Rivières...Épisode que peux de ses confrères étudiants se souviennent, mais peut-être aussi quelques intervenants de l'école.
