Le 12 janvier 2010 Pierre Côté est instantanément devenu une source influente dans la narration transmedia en temps réel en offrant aux citoyens du monde, avant même les grands réseaux d’informations, les premières images vidéo en direct de Haïti. Après 60 heures de production transmedia en continu, plus de 100 000 viewers et de nombreuses actions citoyenne humanitaire, Pierre s’est naturellement imposé comme une ressource d’entraide communautaire planétaire indépendante incontournable. Le 12 mars prochain, 60 jours après le tremblement de terre, il débarquera pour la première fois à Port-au-Prince pour poursuivre son action humanitaire sur le terrain: sensibiliser la planète à la réalité du peuple haïtien en utilisant la plateforme de communication participative transmedia en temps réel qu’il a inventé.
